Terms and Conditions:
Entrants will be asked to accept the following Terms and Conditions when registering for the race. Please accept my
entry for the Bedford Harriers Oakley 20. I accept and acknowledge that my race number and timing chip
will be available for collection on race day only and I do not expect to receive any information by post.
I will be 18 years or older on race day and medically fit to compete. I accept that I enter at my own risk and that the
organisers will in no way be held responsible for any injury, accident, loss or damage that may arise before, during or
after the event as a consequence of my participation in this race. I consent that my details will be used for the
purposes described in the Bedford Harriers entry on the Data Protection Register.
I will abide by the ARC Rules of Competition.
The event organisers shall consider that I have made myself familiar with, and agree to be bound by the UKAD Rules
and agree to submit to the authority of UKAD in the application and enforcement of the Anti-Doping Rules.

I accept that there will be no refunds under any circumstances.
I further agree that, in accordance with the organisers' instructions, I will not wear ear/head phones (including bone
conducting head/ear phones)* during the event and furthermore will park only in the designated race car park/s and
or parking areas as detailed on the race website.'
*Medical or prescription device to aid hearing excepted.
Data Protection and Privacy Policy:
Data collected :
First name, Last name, Gender, Date of Birth, Email address, Mobile phone number, Landline number, Postal address,
Club name, Team name, Next of kin contact data, Race memento size.
Purposes for which the data is used:
The data collected by Bedford Harriers AC as you register and pay for this event will be used for the purposes of
administering this event only. The collection of personal data is considered legitimate in order for us to be able to:
1. Produce and publish an entry list.
2. Provide you with a race number and timing chip.
3. Email you with race data.
4. Text and/or email you with race result.
5. Produce and publish a race results list that will contain only such personal data as is necessary to provide
meaningful results. The result list will include an individual’s first and last name, gender, age group, race time , race
position, gender position, age category position, club/team, and the calculation of team awards.
6. Mail awards and other prizes.
7. Mail race mementoes.
Sharing of data:
Bedford Harriers AC undertakes not to share your personal data with any third party except for the necessary and
legitimate purpose of; compiling results, e.g. where a race timing company is given necessary data to be able to
produce a results list, providing paramedic or emergency services with relevant data in an emergency situation.
It should be recognised that, once published, race results become public knowledge and are widely accessible.
Storing of Data:
Data supplied will be securely stored for 6 years and then securely discarded. Published race results will be stored in
perpetuity.
Individual’s rights Upon request:
Bedford Harriers AC will provide a record of an individual’s data stored by Bedford Harriers AC provided production of
satisfactory evidence of the individual’s identity is received. The individual has the right for data to be amended or
deleted. Any request for provision of data, amendment to data or deletion of data to be completed within 30 days of
the request.
