The course:A measured, undulating, rural country road race around the villages to the north of the county town of Bedford. Unsuitable for wheelchair athletes. 4 hour time limit. Course map click hereCourse marshals:The course will be marshalled by Bedford Harriers volunteers vociferously supporting the runners. Marshals move around the course based on runners pace at not less than 12 minutes per mile. The sweep vehicle also travels at a pace of 12 minutes per mile and any runners travelling at less than 12 minutes will be politely requested to withdraw and transport back to the RaceHQ will be arranged.Water stations:Located at 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 17 and 19milesFacilities:Course maps, toilets, changing, hot showers, hot & cold drinks and snacks, secure baggage storage, and pre & post racemassage will all be available at the race HQ. Baggage storage is at owner's risk.Toilets:Ample flushing portable cabins will be situated at the front of the race HQ. There are also a small number of toilet cubicles in the changing rooms and in numerous places in the race HQ. There are toilet facilities at 12 & 19 miles on the course, directlyoutside the Race HQ; there are no toilet facilities at the car park.Race Memento:The iconic Oakley 20 hoodie will again be the race memento, but what colour?The Oakley 20 hoodie is available to finishers only. It will be available for collection from the Race HQ after the race, not before. You will need your race number to collect your hoodie.
